STORY

CMPI Srl, founded in 1971, is a leading manufacturer or machines and systems for processing marble and granite.

In 1991, CMPI took over the entire machine production activity of SALIN, based in Marostica, an important brand in the marble sector.

In 1996 the company purchase the whole production range of GREGORI, a company more than one hundred years old and world leader in the production of machines for marble and granite.

In 2001 CMPI continued is expansion programme by purchasing the whole production range of ZAMBON, together with its thechnologies and spare parts warehouse.

Thanks to the large number of important developments throughout the last decade, the company has constantly widened its considerable production range and progressively penetrated important foreign markets such as Spain, Portugal and Germany in Europe, as well as South-east Asia, Australia and North America.
